I was commissioned by renowned landscape Architect Rick Eckersley to interpret his beautiful garden 'Musk' in Flinders
and create a textile print.
I was particularly drawn to the shapes and movement of the gardens landscape architecture -
there were no sharp lines, and the flow of the paths teamed with untamed native plans was seriously beautiful.
Bark formations on the Eucalyptus trees, a giant fire pit and the ever-changing colour palette through the
seasons were
also points of interest.
I created a textile print paying homage to these elements, and the print was then created into a cotton kimono,
silk pyjamas and a linen shirt. A few more exciting things are in the pipeline for the project, watch this space!
